To make fishing an enjoyable experience for all, we ask all anglers and guests to comply with these Rules:
Strictly no children under the age of 18 are to be left alone on our premises without a responsibile adult aged 18 or over. Whilst fishing is to be enjoyed by people of all ages, this rule is in place for safeguarding reasons. Those who do not abide by these rules will be politely asked to leave immediately, no exceptions.
- All anglers must have an up to date Environment Agency Rod Fishing Licence
- All nets, unhooking mats and cradles must be dipped and left to dry before commencing fishing
- All fish must be returned to the waters (strictly catch and release)
- All fish - especially carp must be landed, using a landing mat or cradle, and returned using a landing net, regardless of size
- All hooks must be barbless and no bigger than size 10 on Match Lakes
- Maximum Hook size of 4 on the Specimen Lake with a minimum of size 8. Micro barbs are encouraged and acceptable however extra care must be taken during unhooking.
- All anglers are required to be in possession of a carp care kit and administer first aid when appropriate
- Fishing is only permitted from pegs
- Small amounts ground bait are acceptable (for example, swim feeder or method feeder)
- No peanuts, uncooked hemp, aniseed, cat food and floating bread.
- No litter
- No fires
- Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated
- Toilets are available on site. Please provide your own toilet paper
Anyone found to be in breach of the rules will be asked to leave the fishery and no refund will be issued
